Report Cards

Report cards will be available for pickup from homeroom teachers on Thursday, June 29th from 9:00-9:30 a.m. and 2:45-3:43 p.m.  
If you are unable to pick up your report card at these times, you have these options:

  • Leave a self-addressed stamped large envelope in the office and we will mail it on Friday.
  • Pick up your report card when the office re-opens on August 23rd.

Invitations were sent home today with students who are receiving an award at our Year-End Awards Ceremony on June 29th.  Please call the office at 204-837-5808 to RSVP your attendance by Tuesday, June 27th.

Cafeteria Hours for June

The last day to purchase breakfast in the Cafeteria is Thursday, June 15th.  Lunch purchases will continue until Friday, June 23rd.  Microwaves will still be available, but students will need to bring lunches from home.  Thanks for a great year!

Library Amnesty Day

May 17th is Library Amnesty Day.

If you have any overdue GG library books hiding in your locker, under your bed, or at your grandparents' house, this is the day to return them.

All fines will be waived, but only on the 17th.

Reminder: Parking Campaign Starts May 1st

Attention Students With Bicycles

Now that cycling weather is upon us, students are reminded to protect their bikes by locking them to the bike racks on the back tarmac. Consider purchasing a U-Lock, which is more difficult to cut than the cable-type locks.  Remember to wear a helmet and ride safe!

Rugby Opportunity

Rugby Manitoba is hosting a Rookie Rugby program at the Sturgeon Heights Community Centre.  Rookie Rugby is a co-ed, non-tackling game for children ages 4-16. Mini rugby is for 4-6 year olds, and Flag rugby is for 7-14 year olds.

The sessions begin April 23rd and run every Sunday:  3:15-4:00 for Mini, and 4:00-5:00 for Flag.
